Sewing for dolls
We feel extremely fortunate to
have acquired a wonderful doll pattern company, "A Stitch At A Time," and
have the exclusive right to market their patterns. Originally designed for slender
18 inch porcelain dolls, we have adapted them to fit the American Girl type dolls.

  Ashley Typical Victorian style; lots of ruffles, lace and ribbon roses. Pin
tucks on skirt and bodice are optional Pattern includes dress, pinafore, full
petticoat and pantaloons.

Lindsey
Gored and gathered skirt has a
shaped waistband. The ruffled hem boasts an extra eyelet ruffle. Full ruffled
petticoat matches collared long sleeved blouse. The vest is ribbon and button
trimmed. Pattern for petticoat and knee length pettipants included.

  Stephanie Dressy blouse; full length skirt and Crazy Patch vest (easy done with
assorted ribbons.) Pattern includes a petticoat, pettipants and instructions

Sally
Wyoming cowgirl outfit. "Levis'
have front swing and back patch pockets; waistband and belt loops. Western
shirt with front and back yoke and pockets. "Batwing" chaps fasten at
back leg with snaps and are made from leather (could be Ultra Suede) and buckle front and
back. Hat can be purchased where 18" doll accessories are sold.

 Kelly
Two piece, sailor collared dress with insert
and tie adapted from a pattern shown in an 1870's Delinator (early Butterick) pattern
book. Pattern includes both the pleated and flared skirt which is attached to a
sleeveless top which can be worn separately. The long sleeves are fitted at the
shoulder with deep pleats. The top is gathered to a waistband and fastens in the
front. Patterns for the hat, tie and a chemise slip are also included.
